Petroleum Geology of Amu Darya and Other Basins of Central & Eastern Turkmenistan
Blackbourn Geoconsulting proposes a new study on the petroleum geology and hydrocarbon resources of the basins of Central and Eastern Turkmenistan.
Based primarily on extensive information in the Russian-language literature, this study will provide detailed information on known fields, non-commercial hydrocarbon occurrences and the presence of source rocks, reservoirs and seals.

The report will include many colour illustrations together with relevant information on oil and gas fields from Blackbourn Geoconsulting's FSU database. The area of study will include:
- Central Karakum Arch
- Pre-Kopetdag Trough
- Bakhardok Homocline
- Amu-Dar'ya Basin
- Murgab Basin
- Southeast Turkmenistan Basins (including Shatlyk Arch, South Tedzhen Downwarp and the Badkhyz-Kharabil region)
This report is currently in preparation. On completion the report will cost US $20,000. Companies can pre-commit to purchase the report for a reduced price of US $18,000 (50% payable on pre-commitment, 50% payable on delivery).
