The Aral Sea: Petroleum Geology and Hydrocarbon Prospectivity

Blackbourn Geoconsulting announces a new study providing a thorough introduction to the petroleum geology and hydrocarbon prospectivity of the Jurassic and Palaeogene reservoirs of the Aral Sea and surrounding areas.

Small accumulations of oil and gas have been discovered in this area in the past but exploration has been limited. The report is aimed at companies wishing to familiarise themselves with the area before incurring the costs involved in acquiring original wells and seismic data, or embarking on negotiations aimed at obtaining concessions in the area.

This report is currently in preparation. On completion the report will cost US $20,000.
